Public procurement in Spain

Tender alerts for Spain: official and paid options

Start with free official subscriptions if you need to discover Spanish tenders. Pay for a tool when its analysis, history or team capabilities solve a task that the alert alone does not cover.

Start with the official sources

PLACSP provides free email subscriptions covering Spanish public-sector procurement, including regional profiles. A business user account is used for subscriptions. TED provides EU-level notices and personalised alerts through EU Login. Public search and personalised alerts are different services; you do not need to buy a commercial tool merely to discover public notices.

Build a search around what you can deliver

Choose keywords and CPV codes using known contracts that fit your business. Add territory and other available filters, then check whether those known records appear. Separate activities with different requirements rather than putting every service into one broad query. Keep a periodic manual search to check for missing or irrelevant results.

Check the working language before choosing a tool

An English guide does not guarantee that tender documents, customer support or a software interface are available in English. Confirm the language your team needs for reading, analysis and submission. Use the official document as the reference where a summary or translation is ambiguous; a translated summary is not a change to the contracting authority’s requirements.

Where tenderyou fits

tenderyou focuses on Spanish procurement discovery, document analysis with Tendi and historical awards. Its Gratuito plan includes one alert and 50 AI uses per month. Pro is EUR 199 per month with monthly payment, or EUR 149 per month equivalent billed annually at EUR 1,788, excluding VAT. Check the current Spanish pricing page for terms. Confirm interface and support language with the provider.

A comparison you can repeat

Use the same search and a public tender document in each option you are considering. Record relevant results, missing records, the evidence behind document answers and the manual work remaining. Do not compare one provider’s entry plan with another’s enterprise plan as though their limits were equivalent. Ask for confirmation where pricing, VAT or language support is not published.

From an alert to a submitted bid

Open the current contracting profile, verify the deadline and amendments, and decide whether you meet the requirements. Prepare and submit through the official channel. Neither an alert subscription nor a commercial analysis service submits your offer automatically.
